How does integrating Woodsoft Nesting with AFU_HT save 14 boards?

The woodworking community is very familiar with the AFU_HT Furniture Production Support Tool developed by Associate Professor – Dr. Vu Manh Tuong, Head of Department, Senior Lecturer of the Forestry University. AFU_HT helps to create shapes very quickly and optimally, and manages smart libraries to serve the design for automated furniture production using CNC.

And now Woodsoft is very pleased to collaborate with Dr. Tuong. We have successfully integrated the AFU_HT solution with Woodsoft Nesting. From now on, after creating shapes with AFU_HT, you can switch to nesting with Woodsoft Nesting to take advantage of both solutions:

– Fast shaping and smart library management

– Automatic: chamfering, rounding, cutting columns, creating Dogbone/square mounts in batches and linking Dogbone/square in all directions; draw curved panels and curved panels…

– Woodsoft Nesting helps save boards, optimize tool paths, prevent boards from flying automatically

– Export full labels, material reports, cutting diagrams, etc. And as in the introductory video below, instead of losing 78 boards when stacking boards with SketchUp, Woodsoft Nesting only needs 64 boards, saving 14 boards.
