As suggested by many of you, Woodsoft Nesting will perform 2 or more cuts when one of the following 3 conditions is met:
1) The size ratio between the long edge and the short edge is greater than X times.
2) The area of the part is smaller than Y mm2.
3) The ratio between the area of the part and the area of the outer rectangle is less than Z%.
The numbers X, Y, Z can all be configured on the interface.
– Condition 1 to control the 2-cutting of long bar-shaped parts.
– Condition 2 to cut small parts 2 times.
– Condition 3 to cut curved, hollow parts, etc.
By allowing the configuration of these 3 parameters, you can customize the 2-cutting depending on the characteristics of your machine. You can even proactively skip the 2-cutting if the machine has good vacuum.
